Did you know your balance sheet & income statement can tell you how much your business is worth, tell the story of the financial past, present and future, and can help you to improve your company's cash flow? Learn what your Banker already knows about your business and how to analyze statements. It's not rocket science. Financial statements are an incredibly powerful tool to use in your business operation, help you to set goals, monitor performance, and make better/smarter financial decisions. Understanding financials is done through (1) understanding the two parts (balance sheet & income statement), (2) evaluating ratios and trends, and (3) using those ratios and trends to evaluate your business' strengths, weaknesses and opportunities. You can answer such questions as, "Am I using my assets to effectively generate sales?", "Am I doing the right thing with my profits?", "What's the best way to manage growth?"
